White & milk choc chip, oats & coconut biscuits


Got some afternoon baking on & these biscuits were nothing short of scrumptious. I don't think they will even last until tomorrow. Nothing beats, freshly baked & warm biscuits

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup plain flours
  • 0.5 cup shredded coconut
  • 0.75 cup caster sugar
  • 125 gm butter
  • 0.25 cup golden syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
  • 0.5 cup choc chips
  • 0.5 cup white choc chips

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180. Combine all dry ingredients (except bi carb soda) in a bowl
    2. In a small non stick pan add butter, golden syrup & melt. Add bi carb soda & stir until foamy. Pour over dry ingredients & mix to combine. Stir through choc bits.
    3. Grab small handfuls of mixture & roll into balls then flatten on baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden. It's ok if they're not really hard as they will harden as they cool.

Recipe notes

TIP: You don't need to use both kinds of chocolate. Either works fine. Also if they feel like they aren't sticking together squeeze some extra golden syrup into oat mix & stir through
