Chia and pepper crackers


Another easy, healthy & filling afternoon snack. Today was homemade chia & pepper crackers with cottage cheese & hummus to dip these crunchy crackers in. Delish. Make these the night before work & pack all 3 in separate containers ready to go.

Serves 2 (or one of u don't want to share ) makes about 18 crackers depending on size of shape

  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 3 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 3 teaspoons almond meal
  • 1 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 pinch chilli flakes
  • Pepper and salt

Chia and pepper crackers Directions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180
    2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Take all ingredients & roll into a ball.
    3. Place the ball on a baking tray with baking paper, place another piece of baking paper over the top. Flatten it out with your hand or a rolling pin & keep going until smooth. Remove top baking paper.
    3. Use a narrow circle object to cut crackers. Place in oven & bake for 10-15mins or until golden.

    Serve with a yummy low fat dip. Can have warm or cold.
