I found this recipe on super healthy kids & love that it's healthy, easy & not filled with sugar. Makes a great lunch box snack or 3pm pick me up.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 6 tablespoons peanut butter

Ingredients - Toppings

  • 1 handful crushed walnuts
  • 1 small choc chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Banana bars Directions

  1. 1. Grease 2 baking trays & line with baking paper. Preheat oven to 180.
    2. Blend oats into a flour & add bananas & peanut butter. The batter should be wet like a cookie dough.
    3. Spread the dough evenly into baking pans. Place in oven & cook for 12-16mins (depending on oven) or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven.
    4. Remove from pans, spread peanut butter & sprinkle nuts & choc chips. Chop in to bars & store in fridge or freeze them
