Cadbury creme egg cookies


In celebration of Easter, comes the yummiest crème egg cookies. Two of my favourite things = cookies and crème eggs.

  • 3 large cadbury creme eggs, chopped
  • 100 gm caster sugar
  • 100 gm melted butter
  • 1 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup self raising flour

Cadbury creme egg cookies Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. In one bowl mix the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add maple syrup and mix.
  3. Add flour and beat until blended. Pour in crème eggs and fold through. The mixture should be a nice dough consistency.
  4. Using slightly wet hands roll small balls of the mixture and place on baking tray, leaving enough gaps between. Using the back of a fork press down on each cookie to flatten slightly.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. They will still be soft and only just turning golden. Leave to cool then transfer to a wire rack.
