Chicken and chorizo low carb pizza


Healthy doesn't have to be boring especially when pizza is life!! Try this chicken and chorzo pizza on pita bread and enjoy it without the guilt but still packed with flavour.

  • 200 gm chicken, diced
  • 200 gm chorizo, thinly sliced
  • 200 ml pasta sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 handfuls shredded cheese
  • 1/2 spanish onion thinly sliced
  • 50 gm feta
  • Fresh or dried basil
  • Rocket to serve
  • Olive oil
  • 1 decent pinch vegeta
  • 2 large pita breads

Chicken and chorizo low carb pizza Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  2. In a non stick fry pan spray with oil. On medium heat add chicken and vegeta. Brown off and set aside.
  3. Mean while lay pita breads down flat onto a baking tray. Spoon pasta sauce and garlic over the bases. Scatter basil to liking over the top. Evenly place chicken and chorizo over pizzas. Add remaining toppings except rocket. Place in oven to cook or until cheese has melted. Remove and garnish with rocket. 
  4. Serve.
